Absolutely, hands down my favorite restaurant ever!!! I have been going there since they were at the old location. I have NEVER had a bad meal, the service is impeccable (shout out to Keira). If you love authentic Irish fair then this is your place. The bangers and mash and fish and chips are phenomenal!

My girlfriend and had an AMAZING lunch at The Castle! The Baked Cod was the best I ever had and my girlfriend's Sunday Roast pot roast was equally FANTASTIC. The owner visited our table and I asked about those dishes and I concur with how great they were!Although this was our first dining experience it definitely will not be our last. The ambiance is great as well as the service a d I can't wait to try other menu items. I highly recommended The Castle,Black Rock!

The entrance was a little confusing to find but once you do find it you get great service and food! Had the fish and chips. Best ever to be honest. Light and super crispy with wonderful flaky fish with crunchy perfect fries.

What a wonderful meal. My husband had the baked cod, which he loved, my daughter the chicken curry which was traditional and delicious. I had the Sole Francaise which was perfectly tender and melts in your mouth. Highly recommend you stop for a pint or a beverage from their fancy drink list

We were in the area and tried this restaurant for lunch. Shared the onion tart which was so good. My friend got 3 blackened fish tacos that were huge. I got the glazed salmon dish. All food was hot, delicious, and plenty left for having tomorrow, too. Our server, Rachel, was excellent! Answered our many questions. Very good natured and efficient. We would highly recommend this place any time.

Awesome Irish pub. Ordered Bangers & Mash and was not disappointed. My wife had a steak and it came with the most amazing creamed spinach.

Our family's go-to place is The Castle, Black Rock. It all starts with the warm genuine Irish hospitality. It is charming to hear a few brogues while you are there too. We started out with our usual favorite #BuffaloCauliflower as an appetizer. It comes with two dipping sauces... my husband likes the spicy one and I prefer the traditional blue cheese. For our entrees, my hubby had #SoleFranchise entree and I had #PenneAlaVodka. The penne dish has both chicken and sausage in it and fresh Parmesan cheese on top! It’s incredible that an Irish restaurant makes such great penne! Both absolutely delicious. Both entrees were so big we had to get containers to take home. #Leftovers tomorrow for dinner so I get bonus points for getting dinner ready two nights in a row!

Connor and Ciara are the best bartenders. The food is always on point. I had swordfish with asparagus on top of risotto tonight and it was excellent. Occasionally, Patrick the owner, will buy me a drink and that is special. Not many restaurant’s managers/owners care enough to do that. I also like the live music 3 or 4 nights a week and hometown atmosphere. I have been patronizing Castle since they were located a little further down Fairfield Ave.. I am hooked and will remain a customer.

Loved this landmark pub in Black Rock Bridgeport. Handsome bistro decor with bar side and separate restaurant for more quiet dining. Started with string whiskey cocktail which was amble and well mixed. Loved the mussels which are served three different ways with garlic toasts. Also more traditional Irish fare like bangers and mash. One highlight was the Irish music “session” held first Tuesday of the month. Awesome!!

It has been a minute since I was here. Even better than I remember. Service was excellent super friendly. Food is great and the Guinness…well a true imperial pint and a great pour is what is genuine about here. Need to come back for the music.
